We are always striving to improve customer experience, and one of the ways we want to do is by making boarding faster. As a result, we've changed the way assign passengers to boarding groups.

We'll call customers who require special assistance and families with children under 2 to board the plane first. Immediately after that, we'll call passengers by group. Each group has a number according to the order of priority for boarding the plane.

You'll find your group number on your boarding pass. Please sit back and relax until we call you. It won't take long.

Iberia Plus Infinita, Platino and Oro, Iberia Singular, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire and Business Class customers.

Members of Iberia Plus Plata, oneworld Ruby, Premium Economy, Air Shuttle, customers with the Comfort fare and Flexible fare and customers who have booked priority boarding.

Avoid queues when boarding

Be one of the first to board the plane, find more space for your hand luggage and settle down without having to rush.

Add our Priority Boarding service when you book your ticket, through Booking management or when you check in online, and you can board together with Plata and oneworld Ruby customers in Group 2.

Tips for boarding

Please go to the gate promptly and before the time shown on your boarding pass. Remember to bring all the health and ID documents you need to travel to your destination. Please report to the boarding gate as early as possible so we have plenty of time to check your documents.

Once you reach the gate, wait until your group is called and in the meantime please prepare your documents and boarding pass to show to our staff.

Because of the limited capacity of the overhead compartments on board, we may have to remove a number of cabin bags if there is no space available. In this case, we'll put your bag in the hold free of charge and you can pick it up from baggage reclaim at the destination airport.

Please check that your cabin bag or personal accessory does not exceed the permitted dimensions of 40x30x15cm. Remember, you must place this item under the seat in front of you.
