Terms & Conditions of Donations and use of contact details

The United Nations Children's Fund ("UNICEF") is an agency of the United Nations, created by resolution 57(I) of the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 1946. UNICEF National Committees are established as local non-governmental organisations in different countries and territories that are dedicated to supporting UNICEF by raising funds for and awareness of UNICEF and its work. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms & Conditions”) of the Donations govern the donation (the “Donation”) that you make to UNICEF Spain through the online donation mechanism on the website linked to this document. These Terms & Conditions do not apply to travel services that you may purchase at the same time through the same website. By making the Donation, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

The Donation is a voluntary, non-refundable gift and does not in any way constitute a payment for goods or services.

Your Donation will be processed through a third-party payment provider in accordance with such provider's payment terms and conditions (including a deduction for any fees that may be charged) and the balance will be remitted to UNICEF Spain. The amount of the Donation received by the UNICEF Spanish Committee will be processed and used by the UNICEF Spanish Committee in accordance with its rules, regulations, procedures and administrative practices. The Donation will be used for programmes for the benefit of children and, in particular, will be used for the purposes that are published on the website when you make your Donation.

When making the Donation, UNICEF and the UNICEF Spanish Committee will have access to the personal data that you entered when making your Donation (for example, your tax identification number (NIF), name, email address, telephone number and home address). UNICEF and the UNICEF Spanish Committee may use your contact details to process your Donation. If you also tick the second ‘checkbox’, the UNICEF Spanish Committee will be able to send you more information about their work for children and to request further donations.

Nothing contained in or in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be construed as a waiver, directly or indirectly, of any of UNICEF's privileges and immunities.

UNICEF, the UNICEF Spanish Committee and their providers shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, loss of revenue, loss of profits or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of any compliance with or breach of these Terms & Conditions.
