Early seat booking

Advance seat selection is only offered for flights operated by Iberia, Iberia Express or Iberia Regional Air Nostrum. If your fare doesn't include this option free of charge, you can still select your seat in advance on our website for a lower fee than at the airport. Go to your booking at Booking management or Online check-in and select your seat now for greater availability.

You can also make your booking and select seats through the Iberia customer call centres and the Iberia ticket sales offices, or through travel agencies.

Seats can only be booked for flights operated by Iberia, Iberia Express or Iberia Regional Air Nostrum. For flights operated by other carriers  please check with the airline. Iberia may change the allocation of booked seats for reasons of operation, safety or control.

In the case of Oro (oneworld sapphire) cardholders, this does not include XL seats.

Customers with tickets purchased with Avios (or equivalent in miles) in Economy or Blue fares may select a seat free of charge when making their booking.

IBERIA guarantees that for bookings that include minors between the ages of 2 and 12 at least one of the companions will automatically be allocated to the same row of seats as the minor, or an adjacent row. This also applies to the companion of a passenger with reduced mobility, provided that this person is identified as such when the booking is made.
If you select seats with a surcharge, you do so voluntarily and the additional cost will be non-refundable.

For children aged between five and 11 who are travelling alone, you should contact Iberia to access the seats reserved for them.

Bags and other items exceeding 190 cm in length are not permitted.

Cash payments are not accepted at Heathrow airport.

Animals are not permitted in the cabin (PETC) on flights to London, or in the hold (AVIH) on flights to/from London. However, they are permitted to travel as cargo.

Customers with a disability and/or special need should contact Iberia to access the seats reserved for them.

Groups of 10 or more passengers (with group fare) can book seats through their travel agency or standard seats free of charge during online check-in.
