Strike called in Italy on 29th November, 2024
Due to the announcement of air traffic controllers strike in Italy, we are issuing the following fare flexibility guidelines for passengers whose flights continue to operate.
If you are flying on 29 November 2024, to/from Italy on flights operated by Iberia, Iberia Express and Iberia Regional Air Nostrum and you have purchased your ticket directly on our websites or on Serviberia until 26 November, you have the possibility of booking on any flight on the same route or up to 300 km away within the same country, between 26 November up to 8 December 2024. If you have purchased your ticket to travel with us in a travel agency, you must contact them to modify your reservation.

Visa application for Colombian citizens to enter the United Kingdom
Due to the new immigration rules that came into force on 26 November 2024 and effective from 24 December 2024, all Colombian citizens will require a VISA to enter the United Kingdom, which must be processed in the traditional manner through the Embassy of the United Kingdom rather than electronically (ETA).

New requirement to travel to the United Kingdom from 2025
In order to enter or transit the UK, UK authorities will ask for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), a mandatory digital form to:

Non-European citizens who don't fulfil the requirements will need an ETA from 8 January 2025 and can apply from 27 November 2024.

European citizens will need an ETA from 2 April 2025 and will be able to apply from 5 March 2025.

New requirement to travel to Israel
As from 1 January 2025, the Israeli Government is asking all passengers from countries that do not require a visa who want to enter Israel to fill out a digital ETA (electronic travel authorisation) form.
This document will have to be validated by the Israeli authorities at least 72 hours prior to entering the country. Only then can it be accessed. This document is valid for two years from its issuance and allows you to stay in Israel for up to three months. For your application, it will be necessary to have a valid passport.
