Pets

Bring your dog, cat, bird, fish or tortoise when you fly with us. Check the required documents, prices and conditions for travelling with them on board, in the hold or as cargo.

Can I travel with my pet?

Pets such as dogs, cats, birds and tortoises that meet the legal limitations and document requirements may be accepted as hold baggage or in the passenger cabin.

To manage your request, contact our Booking Service. You can only pay for this service at the airport.

  • Acceptance in hold

Dogs and cats, except for snub-nosed and dangerous breeds, are accepted. Take them to the hold in a suitable carrier, i.e. resistant, safe, comfortable, ventilated and large enough to allow your pet to stand in a natural position, turn around and lie down. If the carrier does not meet the minimum acceptance conditions, it will be rejected at boarding. Pet shops and specialised transport companies usually stock suitable carriers.

Different types of planes have different limitations regarding the number and size of pet carriers accepted in the hold. Permission to travel with your pet will only be granted when all the flights in the booking have been confirmed.

  • Acceptance in the cabin

Dogs, cats, fish, tortoises and birds (except birds of prey) may travel with you in the cabin if they do not exceed 8 kg in weight (including the pet carrier, except in the case of guide dogs).

Under no circumstances may pets leave their carrier, and you are responsible for their care during the flight.

    • The maximum carrier size is 45x35x25 cm and the sum of the three dimensions may not exceed 105 cm.

    • The size and weight of the animal must be within the stated limits on both the outward and return flight.

  • Acceptance as air cargo

If for any reason your pet cannot travel with you in the cabin or hold, you can transport it as cargo, please contact Woof Airlines.
